How many people can I bring?

You can normally bring a maximum of ten people including yourself. There’s no minimum.

Our foredeck is open sided for maximum fresh air. The table seats eight. You’re welcome to bring two more guests if you don’t mind being seated at separate tables by using the second table inside the cabin if necessary..

Who else will be onboard?

Nobody except the crew, usually Mike. That’s the lovely thing about a private canal cruise, specially for you and your household.

Can we bring food and drinks?

Yes. However we ask you to bring only a small selection of food and a couple of drinks per person so please help us by keeping things simple.

Can we decorate?

On a Party Picnic Cruise you will get 20 minutes to set up any food, drink and decorations. Please keep decorations to a minimum as this impacts our ability to keep things clean. Specifically please don’t bring balloons, which are a Covid-19 risk and don’t bring glitter, confetti which contaminate surfaces. Sellotape is also not permitted due to its damaging properties

On a more positive note I recommend some colourful bunting to hang around the seating area, and maybe a colourful table cloth.. Coordinated paper cups and plates complete the scene and take no time at all to set up.

Can we bring a dog?

Yes indeed, dogs are welcome.

Is there a toilet?

Yes we have a simple toilet.

Will we get wet if it rains?

Our main seating area in the foredeck is open sided with a roof overhead so lots of good fresh air. However if it rains we can roll down perspex covers to keep you dry.

Can we sing, dance or otherwise make a nuisance of ourselves?

No. We work in a lovely quiet part of London and like it to remain that way. However it is even more important to make sure we don’t spread Covid-19 by singing or shouting over loud music.

You may however bring a small battery powered bluetooth speaker for background music but it must not be heard off the boat or cause raised voices in conversation for Covid safety..

What if we are late?

Your cruise will be one of several in our daily diary so we will have to end your cruise at the booked time, but if you arrive late there’s no problem and we will simply adapt the itinerary to suit the remaining time.

If you are going to arrive late then you don’t need to contact us at first, but if you’re more than 30 minutes late then please call. We will wait for the entire booked time incase you still turn up!
