Canal and River Cruises Ltd are a private London Canal Boat Trips Charter operator, and specialise in day trips on the Grand Union and Regent’s Canals amidst the calm of Little Venice and Regent’s Park and the hustle and bustle of Camden with its world famous Camden Lock Market but your can book us for trips further afield too.

Parties of up to 12 are most welcome to hire our narrowboat with skipper from a couple of hours to a whole day. Why not book our boat for your party and bring your own food and drinks along for a special occasion. Or ask us for a private guided tour of London’s canals with commentary and learn about the history and living aboard on the English canals.

Let us collect you from Paddington Station or Little Venice, St. Johns Wood or Camden or for something different, we also offer tours from Greenford, Perivale, Alperton, Acton, Park Royal, Kensall Rise, Ladbroke Grove, Islington, London Canal Museum, City Road or even as far as Limehouse and Stratford to see the site of the London 2012 Olympic Games site. Our home base is Little Venice, so we do make an extra charge for picking up or dropping off elsewhere – please ask for a quotation.

Our Boat – Lady A

‘Lady A’ is a modern custom built 45 ft narrowboat licenced to carry up to 12 passengers.

She has a large foredeck, most popular with our customers, seating up to 12 around a table. This focal point of the boat has open sides for the summer, and bright winter days too and canopies to protect you from the elements plus an infra-red Nano heating system when the weather isn’t so nice.

The forward saloon has a cushioned seating with table, and a large open deck at the back is available to stretch your legs.

We have running water and a modern flushing toilet onboard too plus gas central heating througout the cabin for those colder days.

When you make a booking on Lady A you charter the entire boat, with professional, qualified skipper and so you can enjoy the company of your guests while we take care of the boat operations.

With a minimum hire period of 2 hours we can meet you at almost any canalside location in London, but our most popular boarding points are Little Venice, Paddington and Camden. We try to be as flexible as possible so please let us know your plans and we will try to personalise a cruise for you, or why not just let us recommend an itinerary.

Due to the traditional layout and dimensions of a narrowboat, it may not be possible to accommodate wheelchair users. If you or any members of your party have reduced mobility, please advise us when booking, so that we can ensure your comfort and safety.

Dogs are carried at our discretion – please advise us when booking.
